Fantastic picture!
I've been hanging on to a couple of images for a few months now, showing that mad US family who stand by the roadside with big banners reading "God hates fags". Their obsession with other people's sexuality is extraordinary...
Because when I enlarged the photo I was somewhat confused by the wording of Leviticus 20:13 as reported by Smug Guy in Short-sleeved Black Dress Shirt - "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination" - I did some further research and found this entirely plausible interpretation:
"It is grounded in the old Jewish understanding that women are less worthy than men. For a man to have sex with another man 'as with a woman' insults the other man, because women are to be treated as property."
Criminy, if these thumpers could only learn to differentiate between homophobic scripture and misogynistic scripture.
