They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.

It deepens like a coastal shelf.

not sure i agree with the last line, but larkin has always had a special resonance for me, and many others, no doubt.

just saw that movie the other day. most kids are pretty well adjusted considering how fkced up their parents are.
