hmmm. find it really interesting that you plonk both addison and willow, the two red-headed obsessions of yours, back to back. and funnily enough, i think it was an honest oversight.
I'm now into Season 5 and I've rediscovered another Buffy Weep moment: at the end of the Replicant episode, as Riley is helping Xander move out of his parents' basement he tells Xander how much he loves Buffy, how he knows she is the one. And then he pauses and, all good natured, adds: "but she doesn't love me". We watch, with Xander, in horror as Buffy returns perkily to the room and kisses Riley.
but, duc, it's RILEY. anything out of his mouth is by default absolutely trite. how can it compare to the season 7 finale of buffy telling spike: i love you and he replying: no you don't. but thanks for saying it anyway
It's much MUCH better than Hex and is, indeed, one of the best telly series ever.
Of course you must start with episode 1 of season 1: it's crucial to get a proper introduction to the characters and to the mythology of Buffy's world. And then let the pleasure flood over you.
I am envious that you are at the very beginning of a fantastic journey...
--I have been with you every day of my life. Tell me you know that. -- Yes, I know it. --You must also know that I shall be with you every day that is granted to me from now on. Every evening I shall sit down to dine with you. Not with my body, which is of no importance, but with my soul. Because this evening I have learned, my dear, that in this beautiful world of ours, all things are possible.

I'm not going to sleep properly, now...

Oh willow.... where is my witch? Hmm, hmm?
I told you, I have a weakness for Riley: I am the only Buffy fan in the whole world who rather liked him.
Will report on weepiness of Spike interaction when I reach it!
lady v: you can have willow once you've overcome all hurdles and dispelled all evidence of BLhood. you know what willow's like when she's provoked.
leDuc: you really are an odd one. WHAT is there to like? even BUFFY found bloody irritating (all those pushups...).
Never seen any Buffy episode.
Suggetions on where to start? Season one, episode one? Feels overwhelming.
Is it as good as HEX?
