and now trying to get to the bottom of the peony pavilion, from what i gather some take on farewell my concubine that takes its title from the most classic of Chinese kunqu operas. i feel there are a few linguistic barriers to say the least but am ploughing through what to my ignorant ears sounds like cat screeching. where is that opium?
